How do learners enrol?

Firstly, tell us you’re interested. We will invite learners into our centre for an interview with our course tutor, who will ascertain whether this is an appropriate programme for them. Our selection procedure will also involve short computer based numeracy/literacy tests and the completion of a learning style questionnaire. Our tutor’s decision on enrolment will be final.

What are the costings?

Under the Government’s Apprenticeship Reforms of 2017,  employers have to make a contribution to the cost of training . We’ll discuss and agree this before carrying out an Initial Assessment with each individual learner, which could lead to enrolment if this qualification is appropriate.

However, Employers can access Skills for Care’s Workforce Development Fund and claim up to £1,040 to help pay for costs associated withact-now supporting Higher Apprenticeships in their organisation.
