Management – Diploma at level 4

This level 4 Diploma in Management is ideal for managers moving into a middle management position, who still retain responsibility for operational processes but are more removed from the day to day line management duties. This qualification develops the knowledge and skills required to take in higher level responsibilities such as planning and implementing change.

Qualification overview  

You’ll need to complete all four mandatory units, as outlined  below.

  • Manage Physical Resources
  • Manage the Impact of Work Activities on the Environment
  • Prepare for and Support Quality Audits
  • Conduct Quality Audits

We’ll discuss all the Mandatory and Optional units with you    before enrolment, and will decide which ones you take.

What are the entry requirements?

Candidates seeking to undertake this apprenticeship must be able to demonstrate ability equivalent to or exceeding Level 2 in English and mathematics. This requirement may be met through the achievement of Level 2 functional skills, equivalent GCSEs, O Levels, A Levels or AS Levels, or an initial assessment which demonstrates the required ability.

 How will I be assessed?

We’ll come to your workplace once every four weeks to carry out assessments.

 What progression routes are there?

If appropriate, the learner could progress on to a Level 5 Management apprenticeship.

Under the Government’s Apprenticeship Reforms of 2017,  employers have to make a contribution to the cost of training . We’ll discuss and agree this before carrying out an Initial Assessment with each individual learner, which could lead to enrolment if this qualification is appropriate.
